Concerts on the Green
On the first and third Sundays of the month, from May through September—with additional holiday concerts—enjoy a “concert on the green” on the Davidson Public Library Stage. Rain or shine, this admission-free festivity occurs from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and is friendly for all ages. Bring your own picnic food or dine at a nearby restaurant or vendor.
Music Jam Event
If the morning is more your scene, stop by Richard’s Coffee Shop on Main Street in Mooresville every Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon to hear live music. The crowd is cozier than the open concert events, and admission is free.
Symphony in the Park and Fireworks
On June 27th, the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra puts on a show at the Bailey Road Park that literally ends with a bang. Enjoy majestic symphony music accented by a fireworks show after nightfall. Set up your blanket at 6 p.m. and bring the kids along for a KidsZone, where they can play with volunteers from Journey Church.
